Fall of 1963, the AG wasn’t hunting the Mob or foreign spies. He was quietly building the most explosive federal case of his life — against a man who worked forty feet from the Oval Office. Using the FBI, Senate investigators, and Life Magazine (the X of its day), RFK had wiretaps, witnesses, and a paper trail that ran from a West Texas cotton field straight to the Vice President’s door.
Then Dallas happened. The file went cold. And the target became President.

• The convicted fraudster who walked into a grand jury in 1984 and named eight murders — including JFK — pointing directly at Lyndon B. Johnson.
